  1. I am, why wouldn't they cast Benicio Del Toro? With a big beard he would be hilarious!
  2. I can spot myself in the dead tie dye on the right, see you at the show!
  3. It could have been sound issues but it seemed to me that the vocals were off and the song selection could have been better.
  4. Well, Meggo, I wasn't talking about "all kinds of shows" and I disagree that the word "sometimes" implies "frequently" but I have witnessed such scenes in both Toronto and Miami Beach on more than one occasion (I assume that you do not use the mens washroom). I was wrong to say that the style of music causes the scene, rather it is a part of the scene and I guess the terminology used to describe it has incorporated this. It's not my term and I don't use this term. You asked for a description and I guess mine was insensitive. That was not intentional and if I hurt you or anyone else, I am sorry.
  5. I wasn't very impressed with this performance anyone else feel this way?
  6. Anything that makes a group of sweaty men take their shirts off in the middle of the dance floor and start massaging each other, sometimes followed by full on gay orgies on the dancefloor/washroom is the definition of "homo trance". No girls allowed.
  7. Phish NYE 1995. excellent job on the re-mastering, this disc sounds great.
  8. I'm just watching this show, what a huge success. Great show, the nostalgia is running thick... Thank you to whoever it was that posted this.
  9. Hey Steph, I think this thread was pretty "tongue in cheek" so no need to be sad...
  10. I'll be there with some buddies, good times!
  11. It is hard to get, I got the last copy from the superstore HMV. I hate this import bullshit!
  12. I'll be there for the hippy hoe down, who else is going?

    Maybe get your nails done?
  14. This topic has been covered to death, check the archives for a great discussion. IMHO the jamband scene is not dead and will rise again, have faith.
  15. We get the point! Jay I would suggest if you have anything to do with this clown, you should explain the difference between sharing information about cool acts and spamming.
  16. I understand what your are saying, I generally don't look to MMW and Sco for beautiful, I look for funk and am often disappointed with free form jazz in the live environment, however this is an album that needs serious listening and while it may not eclipse A Go-Go I think it has a lot more to say than what you may hear at first glance. P.S. I may be influenced by my recent acquisition of Phil & friends with Sco at the Warfield, Nice, I like!
