  1. I had something like this happening after I bought the PC I have now, turned out my audio cards (Xear 3D) default speaker setting didn't match with my speaker set-up. By default it was set to a seven speaker setting and I was only using four, once I fixed that, the echo was gone. Might be worth checking out your audio card setting.
  2. Alternative would be EAC. Exact Audio Copy V0.99 prebeta 3 (including CDRDAO and Flac packages) last changed on 17.08.07 http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/en/index.php/resources/download/
  3. I like how the guy with a smoke in his mouth, passes on getting in that car, but instead says he will get in the real car as "the support vehicle".
  4. Basher, For the first two songs there seems to be some muffled parts but after that it sounds great. I'm listening to 'A Man Needs A Maid' (4th tune in) right now, the piano and vocals are crisp and clear as day. No chatter during the songs, once or twice you'll hear someone nearby quietly singing along, but it really doesn't effect the recording or occur enough to be a bother. The electric set is alot different in quality, although it is very listenable, it's just not as loud or as crisp with a bit more of a distant 'big hall' vibe compared to the intimate, close up sounding acoustic set. I read on DaD that the eletcric set from the other source is better so I'm gonna probally grab the other source for comparison (at least the electric set anyway).
  5. Thats awesome Brian, congratulations!

Thanks for the heads up. Sounds good to me bro, the lead vocal on 'Gasoline Soaked Heart' really reminds me of of another singer/band, not quite sure who though, but I really like that tune. DBT tour 2008...guess we should start harrassing whiteytmuseum about a return visit to steeltown eh..
  8. I was just wondering since some songs that did fall into the catergory as you explained Marc0, have been rejected in past topics, so I asked. Thanks man. I know Marco has explained things above and not to get too picky, but 'Dave's Energy Guide' was released by Phish on the Colorado 88 discs. Its one of the only Phish CDs I actually own.
  9. Cheers Sharon, Always a quiet one around these parts, at least until my nieces and nephew come by and much like our friend Daveyboy, I look forward to some "light boozing" over the holidays. See you guys in january.
  10. Figured I'd post a heads up here in case some folks don't check the torrent forum. Two different sources, one version is being seeded at both hungercity and dime-a-dozen. Neil Young November 26, 2007 Massey Hall Toronto, ON http://www.jambands.ca/sanctuary/showtopic.php?tid/244119/pid/491498

I think someone needs to stand up, that still makes no sense.

Hmm, well that didn't make any sense.
  13. Sorta pissed I didn't make it. I let myself be talked into a ride instead of taking the GO bus at 7 like I planned, then the person backs out....at 9:30pm or so. Wasn't goin bother grabbing a 10:30 bus only to make it there by 11:30-12.

Alcohol may kill germs, but it won't cure a cold anymore then it'll keep you warm in freezing temperatures.
  15. Ok - was just wondering (not only about this topic), since just about any song anyone on this board will ever pick has more then likely been officially released by someone or some band at some point. Doesn't that mean there shouldn't have been (or be) any disputes about songs posted on previous topics or upcoming topics.
  16. 332: Songs The Black Crowes have covered 1. The Rolling Stones - Torn and Frayed 2. The Grateful Dead - Brokedown Palace 3. Otis Redding - Hard to Handle 4. The Band - The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down 5. Earl Randle - Somebody's On Your Case 6. Bob Marley - Kinky Reggae 7. Bob Marley - Time Will Tell (The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion) 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. Excuse my ignorance here (its sunday mornin...) but I'm always finding myself confused by one thing; "officially released" as per the few rules of the game - so are the songs covered required to have been released by The Black Crowes or just released period?

  18. Literally across the steet from me, people get Mountian, on my side of the street we get Source Cable which has great speeds (6Mb download and 512 Kbps up). I get on avargae 50-75kbs upload on a torrent, download varies from 60-600kbs. They are a small provider (as far as I'm aware) in comparison to most around here, but they have the monopoly on certian parts of town meaning, anyone within Sources coverage have no other otion for highspeed internet. You can get Bell dial-up if you want though.
