  1. Funniest part is, your pretty close to bang on why I was late for Diesel Dog that night... Thanks Mark, yeah the video ain't great but I did get the SBD patch that night direct to my camera. And since this show (as well the Diesel Dog sets) have never surfaced in the last year I've extracted the audio from the video so I can get them on archive. I'm trying to get a hold of someone else who recorded that night so I can piece together the parts (and a song) I missed due to a tape change. Hopefully my emails will be answered soon, although I've been waiting since november last year, so I'm not holding my breath...
  2. Nice. I have the 4 DVD set of this show, the second DVD has all the other Al Franken stuff where he interviews Jerry, Bob, Brent and Steve Parrish as well has a good time giving things away to the crowd during set break for answering GD trivia questions. Classic shit.
  3. Again. Because its so damn good. The intense cover of 'Psycho Killer' and sweet versions of 'Please Be With Me' , 'Dixie Chicken' made this worth the download time and bandwidth alone. Don't let the screenshots fool ya, its alot better quality then it first looks. Ridiculous close ups and the audio is A++. Smokin DVD!
  4. Hilarious. This topic made me think of that "Songs You heard At CTMF" after labour day and people were crying about be excluded from a topic for not being at CTMF and that there should be a change in the rules to ensure everyone can participate. I guess ya'll feel different now eh.
  5. Actually, there isn't any difference.
  6. Here's some more video I shot last year, like the Diesel Dog footage, I've never gotten around to completing the DVD of this show due to the dark lighting and amount of heads that get in the way. Fatties are kickin' ass though. Fat Cats - Down Again The Pepper Jack Cafe 2006-10-27

  10. I always assume with any book to film adaptation there are certian liberties taken, but its great to hear Penn didn't hollywood it up and after catching Penn on Letterman last night and his saying he waited over ten years to get approval (from Chris's family) to make the film, I'm even more interested in seeing this. Thanks.

  12. I've been planning to get out and see this, as I really loved the book, but with my dislike for movie theaters I've procrastinated in doing so. But, my biggest concern is how true Penn kept to the story with the film. I've read some conflicting reviews from folks who have read the book about the movie but have yet to actually ask or hear from anyone I know. CoP or anyone else who has seen the film, any thoughts on book > film comparison?

HC is open for new account unlike dime-a-dozen. I posted the links in the torrent forum for both dime and Hunger City. http://www.jambands.ca/sanctuary/showforum.php?fid/12/
