  3. Cool, I think it would work better if I could get a ride when you head down, as I have to meet Mark there around 9-930 to setup for taping. I'll give you a call around 6:30 if thats cool. Thanks guys.
  4. Just wondering if anyone from Hamilton has an empty seat available tonight. A ride there would be cool, but not probally not do-able as I should be a bit earlier to setup. I would however really appreciate a ride back to the city after the show. Cheers and thanks in adavance.
  5. Happy Birthday Alan. Cheers to you.
  6. Same with me Mark. I wouldn't even for a Dylan Massey Hall show. Just too much money. But thats me. Yep. Agreed. Basically, if you couldn't afford (or were unavailable due to work etc) to buy tickets THE DAY they went on sale your left to purchase from a scapler anyway, and now for upwards of double the original price. Higher ticket prices don't discourage scaplers, they only charge more. Example: http://www.ticketsnow.com/TicketsList.aspx?PID=537871 Massey Hall show Nov. 26. 26 tickets available from $348 to $749 each 26 tickets...and thats only one of a few different places re-selling tickets.

  14. Thanks Josh, I'm currently doing some research to see if I can use mics with my mini disc - I've never used mics before, so I have no idea. I assume I can, but I just don't know what kind. If anyone knows what I can or can't use with a sony mini disc, please ket me know. And yes, I know I should just upgrade to a better recording device..

  16. Crazy shit. Sad news to read. Really? Cool. Thats really the only type of moshin' I ever did, I think I had retired by the time it got to what it is now-a-days. Best circle pit I was ever in was probally GBH and The Accused at the Diamond Club (now Phoenix) back in the mid eighties. I did take a couple boots to the body, but it certianly wasn't intentional. Those were the days (like Paisley mentioned) where folks would try and help you as quick as possible.. fun times.

  18. Desolation Row The Marionette Performance A film by Roderick Smith (www.rodericksmith.com), featuring the Music of Bob Dylan and the 16th century engravings of Peter Bruegel the Elder. This 10 minute film is a collage of music and imagery set down by two artists who lived 450 years apart. The unexpected union of these visionaries was a chance encounter late one night when, as painter Roderick Smith was perusing an old book of engravings by Flemish artist Peter Bruegel the Elder, Bob Dylan's Desolation Row happened to be played on the radio. In an instant an uncanny collaboration was taking place. The wildly strange visual imagery of Bruegel was illustrating the equally bizarre lyrics of the Dylan song. They were in tandem - yet neither medium violated the unique vision of the other. Convinced that a creative miracle was at hand, Mr. Smith set about capturing this creative apparition with the use of marionettes, engravings and the music of Bob Dylan. D519 is the result. Number of discs: 1 Running time: 00:10 Video standard: NTSC Great visuals. Nothing else like it." "This show is absolutely amazing. The artist could perhaps have found a better live recording but, never mind, you haven't seen anything like it. Its brilliant!" The recording used was from Cedar Rapids 2000 with a harmonica performance (not Dylan) added for the film.
