  1. I don't think there will be a showing or preview of the film at these shows, the press release I have just says "The concerts coincide with the premiere of Lanois’ debut film, “Here Is What Isâ€, at the Toronto International Film Festival that same week." Here's part of the release.. Here's the thread I posted about the film: http://www.jambands.ca/sanctuary/showtopic.php?tid/241810/post/462170/hl//fromsearch/1/ [color:red][edit] I misread your post Kev0, yeah, these shows are in support of the new film I imagine.

  3. Someone on another site PM'd me with this link, I figured some folks here will be interested also. You can download (wma files) or stream the audio. I should note that when I downloaded a recording, it appears the security certificate for the site has expired, according to IE anyway. I accepted anyway and ran some virus scans, checked for any malware, spyware etc and turned up nothing, so it seems to be safe and clean. Figured I should let ya know anyway. Taken from the site: http://jazzfusion.tv/bootlegaudio.html# Cheers

  8. Yep. Daemon is the tool you want. For what its worth, another easy ISO tool is imgburn. It'll burn ISO > DVD and is pretty quick. http://imgburn.com/

  10. No worries Marc0. I don't have a hate for the site or anything, but when I did join and did the search I found no one on there that I actually associated with or even hung out with in my past. I did find loads of people I never was friends with, close or soicially. Those are the folks who continually try to "reconnect" (as its put) with me, all because we went to the same school at the same time. But really I was figuring, if it's no different then a messegeboard (as PP put it), then I really have no need for it since I get all the messegeboard'n I need here.
  11. One difference between Facebook and an intrernet messegeboard is, here (messegeboard) I don't have people from twenty years ago who I wasn't interested in knowing then, and am not interested in knowing now or "reconnecting" with, trying to reach me on an almost daily basis until I either reply to them or outright block them. Another difference is the serious lack of music. Agreed. The most annoying thing about facebook is the people.
  12. Should be interesting, to say the least. Although, with all the hype the last two years over this film, I dunno. I may even make a trip to the theater for this. It'll mark my second visit to a movie theater in over 15 years if I do.
  13. Well, if this is it for the Stones, it'll be their first time calling it quits I believe (hiatus/breaks not included). Been a great run, no doubt about it. Neither of which are an issue for the Stones.
  14. Its so good to know there are still solid, honest mail traders out there. Finally after 4 failed attempts and 15 DVDs, someone came through for me. I've been waiting for this one for awhile now. 17. I keep thinking about the fucker who gets this fine while there is workers present on the roads, thats goin' be a real shot to the old bank account, since all speeding fines are doubled during those times.
  18. I agree with that. I also feel the Gourd's pick is solid, since every review of their albums start with the mention of that song, even though the album they released it on came out a decade ago. As for Touch Of Grey, I guess to me its hard to grasp bein' an old tour head, but when I think of alot of people I hang out with who are not (and have never been) fans of GD, thats the song they think of when I meantion Grateful Dead.
