  1. Ahh, thanks Scott I just read the article. My apologys DEM. Really though, by getting the marijuana party to back him up I can see (not that I agree) how they would think it was more about promotion of marijuana then if he had gone to Canadian Civil Liberties Association first.
  2. Not to be a jerk, but whose here is saying that?
  3. I think it would have been better for them to have gone to an organization like the Canadian Civil Liberties Association. Aloha, Brad Agreed. I'm bet there would have been stronger action taken, opposed to five marijuana supporters with signs standing across the street.
  4. A quick look at the schedule and whats included would probally answer that.

  6. Anyone else heard of this? I just stumbled across it searching for something else. Seems pretty damn cool if you ask me. Unfortunately the price is way too much for my tastes. (The one below is the only I would be legally allowed to do) THE BLACKIE & THE RODEO KINGS TRAIN Toronto to Vancouver with Stephen Fearing, Colin Linden, Tom Wilson and friends TBA. Nov. 9-13, 2007 $2689.00 CN per person OUCH! http://www.flyingunderradar.com/ http://www.myspace.com/flyingunderradar
  7. I can't drink draft beer anymore for this very reason. Some mornings after drinking draft beer the night before I wake up and my tongue is seriously swollen. According to my doctor, it could be a couple things, dirty glasses, dirty lines or the amount of cobalt in keg beer (opposed to the amount in a 355ml bottle) and my sensitivity to any of those three things. Different for everyone I suppose.
  8. You could try google video, I know I've watched some 30 min Gourds videos/shows on there. And if your video is more then 100MB, you use the desktop uploader program to upload. http://video.google.ca/ If you have a gmail account, then your pretty much already signed up.
  9. Well, I can't say I agree with 99% of the music world not knowing at least five blues drummers and me being the 1%. So, I'll take that comment as sarcasm. Anyone familiar with artists like Muddy Waters, Otis Spann, Lightnin' Hopkins, Buddy Guy, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jimmy Rogers, B.B King, John Lee Hooker, The Pointer Sisters or even Santana would have heard of those drummers at some point. Anyway, thats not the topic of conversation here, so I'll leave it alone.
  10. http://www.tottenhambluegrass.ca/ Have a good one Jeff, its a fun fest. I wish I could make it this year, but I'm saving my energy for my muskie fishing trip the following weekend.

  16. Steak and potatos. After eating that, I can pretty much put back a 24 (see beer thread) with ease. Still amazes me.
  17. Yeah, theres a lot of private areas up there, which may have been where you went. (Emment lake comes to mind) I know Cyprus Lake has been around since the American guy (some dentist) owned most of the land there in the fifties and sixities - is why the land stayed so undeveloped. He had a camp just north of the Grotto (10 minute hike) called Camp Tot'em which was on a small lake seperated from Georgian Bay by the "Rock Beach". All that remains now is the stone foundation of the log cabin, it is however still one of the legal camp sites along the Bruce Trail.
  18. That would be because Bruce Pennisula National Park wasn't established until 87. Either way, awesome piece of earth.
  19. - yeah more then likely man, since being established in 1987 Bruce Pennisula National Park has always included Cyprus Lake. I agree about its beauty though, loved all the time me and Stacey spent at her cabin there, as well Cyprus Lake (and the Grotto).
  20. Actually its always been Bruce Pennisula National Park, it just covers a few different campgrounds/lakes. Cyprus Lake Poplars Campground Birches Campground Tamarack Campground Singing Sands Halfway Log Dump http://www.pc.gc.ca/pn-np/on/bruce/visit/visit6_e.asp
