NewRider, Nellie and Alexis took a nice $7 cab ride to The Ford Plant to see B.C.'s Mother Mother last Saturday. These guys (and gals) smoked! Great vocals and songs. They make me wanna hold on to my Hillside ticket just to see them again.

While interning there I also saw Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum piss in a public park, smoked a joint with Rob Zombie, got hit on by Rufus Wainright, realized that Marilyn Manson is the most normal rock star in the world and got called a creep by that chick from The Cardigans.

Working at Sleemans I learned a few things. 1) I could easily hide underneath my machine for naps. 2) Pabst Blue Ribbon = Old Milwaukee, Schlitz and Stroh's. 3) Drinking on the job is a privilege, not a right. 4) Just when you think the company is doing okay, BAM! The Japanese buy you out. 5. Free beer every weekend will turn you into a drunk.

Edge 102 does this all the time. Maybe they'll be taking questions via phone and someone can call in and ask why he's there. I remember when Evan Dando was on and he was ranting about how stupid the internet was and I called in and said "how can you say the internet is stupid when it's able to promote your music to a much wider audiance?" his response "fuck you!
