  1. It's not often I get this giddy over an AUD, but this is *must get*. Easily the finest tape I've heard out of Molson Amp and a premiere shed tape for sure. Simply outstanding. http://www.dreamingtree.org/details.php?id=9053&viewcomm=76163#comm76163
  2. In support of their first album in nine years, Neil Young & Crazy Horse will hit the road this fall for an extended run of dates. Supporting the band on the first half of the dates will be Los Lobos, while Patti Smith will provide support on the latter half. Tickets go on sale starting June 8 via Ticketmaster and Live Nation. Fans who purchase their tickets on-line will receive a copy of the group’s new album, Americana, which comes out June 5 via Reprise Records. $1.00 from every ticket sold will go directly to benefit The Bridge School, which assists children with severe physical impairments and complex communication needs. 5. Just looked up the ticket price and the top price for the Toronto show is $189.25. I think I'll be passing. Cripes!
  6. I'm psyched for the ACC show. But I don't see how it could be a "25th" anniversary tour when SO was released in '86?
  7. Damn. Missed it again for Kiss Lite/Crue!
  8. Where is this "Echo Beach" venue anyways?
  9. A note posted on Helm’s website reads: Dear Friends, Levon is in the final stages of his battle with cancer. Please send your prayers and love to him as he makes his way through this part of his journey. Thank you fans and music lovers who have made his life so filled with joy and celebration… he has loved nothing more than to play, to fill the room up with music, lay down the back beat, and make the people dance! He did it every time he took the stage… We appreciate all the love and support and concern. From his daughter Amy, and wife Sandy
  10. So Amazon delivered mine today as well. Decent packaging and a nice booklet with a writeup and the DVD credits and some cool pics. For those interested, the bonus disk with has the Backstage Pass release, also has the following footage: China > Rider Women Are Smarter - 10/2/87 Shoreline Friend Of the Devil - 7/2/89 Foxboro Hey Pocky Way - 7/22/90 Tinley Park Shakedown Street - 6/22/91 Can't wait to dig into this stuff as well as the So Far. I still have my VHS of this I must've played 100 times. Nice to finally see it on DVD.
  11. Toronto ticket info's been posted. $35-$115 + s/c. on sale Fri @ 10am.. http://www.ticketmaster.ca/event/1000489196E460D5?artistid=860453&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1
  12. Boss could use a sippy cup.:-) The man is truly superhuman. The fact that he can do all that every show at age 62 is amazing. Truly. Can't wait for Toronto in August - even though it's at the SkyDome (ugh!).
  13. Well I can only speculate that they'd play there since TO is a big Radiohead market and they could sell a ton of tickets and that place is basically unlimited. Remember when SARS-Stock was there they had like 350K people in there.
  14. Seriously. I'm amazed that it's sold out. They must've really restricted the size or something...
  15. Had a FABULOUS show. Ended up pressed dead center against the mid/floor platform all night. Which meant for a few times during the show, The Boss was literally a foot away from me. The kicker was that I handed him my beer which he took and chugged back with abandon. Got some cool pics of it too... https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/118399257678134392925/albums/5731328836889437969 Check the 6:40 mark. It's distant but you'll get the idea.. And a video I also took during 10th Avenue. He was so close I had to move back a bit as my BB couldn't autofocus. Great night!
  16. Ditto. Props to them for honoring that price!

  19. I see it's now priced at $97 where it should be. They still haven't canceled my order yet though for the earlier price which was obviously a mistake.
  20. IN. So psyched for Friday night. There was a ticket drop yesterday and I was able to grab some GA floors. Hopefully I'll make it into the pit this time..

  23. This is a fantastic watch. Talk about a chill scene. You KNOW it's chill when Jerry and Mickey and Phil walk through the crowd to get to the stage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7JF6QHWPW4
