  1. Yeah Ctowns.....dont do it. You can only drop players in that fashion if Hal denies a legit trade and you want to fuckitup for everyone because he questioned your uncorrupted honorability.
  2. With all Deuce respect, I didnt think Elliott needed to be all that good last night. Pretty easy shutout win as far as I am concerned.
  3. If I understand correctly, these guys stole a riff: from this guy: Did they use it in a song? Or was it in a jam?
  4. Indica, why you be walking this world when you were born to fly?
  5. Yup. Sparing the gruesomely acidic details, this is my first show in a nutshell. Sometimes I wonder how I survived that night but I got by goddammit!
  6. I hadnt listened to this first set in a long time. This matrix is pointing out stumbles I either never noticed before or completely forgot about. You might enjoy this LocalCrew. Until relistening to this, I had actually forgot they played It Must Have Been The Roses that night. It became a favorite Jerry ballad thanks to having never heard the song before and immediately making a strong connection with it. Nearly 20 years later, the way my IPOD worked out that day, my son was born to the same song (Reckoning version).
  7. God bless the interwebs. I didnt have to rummage through piles of cds. Check this version out Schwa, it starts out slamming right off the bat.
  8. Hux's idea gets an A for idea. F for execution. You didnt think to edit any of it to make that look more topical? The second sentence alone gets you a great big fat fail.
  9. Let me speak on behalf of all the Habs fans here. Start Pascal Leclaire. Kovalev scares me tonight. Quiet as allfuck for the past few weeks, walking into the Bell Center. He's beyond due for a bustout game.
  10. Oh my lord. Time certainly does fly. I cant believe this. TWENTY YEARS! First Dead show, life altering night. I'm only posting here because I know a couple of other folks on this board (well, they used to post here frequently) also experienced their first shows in Hamilton. Killer show, top 5 Scarlet-Fire in my books. I am listening to it the moment I get home. 03/22/90 (Thu) Copps Coliseum - Hamilton, Ontario Set 1: Feel Like A Stranger, West L.A. Fadeaway, Easy To Love You, Beat It On Down The Line, It Must Have Been The Roses, The Last Time, Picasso Moon, Don't Ease Me In Set 2: Scarlet Begonias > Fire On The Mountain, Samson & Delilah, Believe It Or Not, Truckin' > Jam > Drums > Space > The Other One > Hey Jude* > Dear Mr. Fantasy > Hey Jude (reprise) > Sugar Magnolia, E: It's All Over Now Baby Blue
  11. 'Cuse are looking dangerous. Sunday was great afternoon viewing! Even the wife was getting into it on Saturday and moreso yesterday. That was new to me and probably to her.
  12. You know what they say about Sens fans......
  13. I best not be the only one out of you dicks who doesnt want to see MAB dress and I am talking the rest of the year. Unless a couple of D-men go down, leave him in the press box.
  14. You need to quit this shit down for good, brah:
  15. DaveyBoy has some beautiful work but I am hoping he goes with his 'other' collection of fine art. It's the sort of stuff that will really make you think.
  16. Since Roller hasnt done it yet, or figured it out for himself: The Vancouver Canucks locked up one of their top players on Friday as Ryan Kesler agreed to terms on a six-year contract extension. The deal will keep him with the club through the 2015-16 season. The deal will pay Kesler $5 million per season. "Today is an exciting day for the Canucks organization," said president and general manager Mike Gillis in a media release. "Ryan Kesler has excelled as a two-way player and in his role as an alternate captain. Ryan has showcased his ability to perform under extreme pressure and we are looking forward to continuing to see Ryan develop into one of the League's premier players."
  17. I heard that Lane's father bilked them out of thousands of dollars.
  18. Enjoy your second shift today Mr Plus/Minus.
  19. It's here again. Loved what I watched yesterday, good bits of the Ohio-Georgetown game (buh bye Hoyas) and seeing the Vanderbuilt game (sent home on a last second shot). I cant wait for tonight.
