  1. I think C-Towns may have installed a hidden camera in my living room. Off to search!
  2. By the way.............if anyone is wondering why I havent updated the 30 Trips Around The Sun thread it's because I feel rather intimidated. It's the first night in Hamilton in 1992. It's a show I was at and let's just say.............well.............I was at the show and I know a number of folks on here (current or gone) were as well. I am awaiting a night I can sit back and really delve into it simply because I am already biased. I may as well let all that shine, right? Let's end with this. Our buddy buttoned up his winter coat for what must have been an hour after the show ended.
  3. I love Truckin's from this era. I was lucky enough to see back to back versions at my first two Dead shows right before Brent died. When the Good Ole Grateful Dead were inside of one there may have been no bigger party going on earth at that moment, perhaps ever. Everyone and everything was in sync with the collective unconscious amongst all participants. Videos will never explain what was going down. I cant even begin to imagine what a 1974 show must have been like even though I pretend to do such a thing.
  4. I had no idea what you were talking about until I did a quick little Google search and found http://www.theatreparadoxe.com/fr/calendrier#show_132
  5. Almost just the right kind.
  6. Are we talking modern day Phish? Or are we talking I can take a bit of time off and get fuckin'wasted and see a show or a 3 day run and hope for some Phish that makes me forget how good Phish used to be Phish?
  7. Go, you assholes. Seriously. I am so fucking jealous Toronto gets this shit.
  8. It's totally understandable that you assumed MTL was the last Prince show you saw. It was perfect.
  9. That's because you hadnt. Your last Prince show was in Ottawa a few months later. http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/prince/2011/scotiabank-place-ottawa-on-canada-33d130b5.html
  10. My brother was a diehard for all the years, especially when he was the only person talking about Prince. If it wasn't for his persistence I never would have changed my uninformed and stupid opinion of his music that somehow developed in the late 80's. I never would have experienced one of the best shows I have seen of too many concerts and I certainly wouldn't have realized that Prince had obtained musical perfection. I cant thank you enough Mike.
  11. It's such a shame this friendship had to end. Gonna blast some wonderful music the moment I get home.
  12. Holyshit. I forgot all about that! god bless you Schwa
  13. Wonder if any of Jesse's words in this book will cause Phish to break up again. Having said that, I am sure I would dig this book. Always enjoyed his rumblings at Jambase.

    Epic Covers

Yup. There are some g-damn epic covers in this thread. Watch them all prior to posting one.
  15. I totally forgot about the Mind Left Body jam inside the end of that Dark Star.
  16. Honestly, TO people. You dont want to miss this even though I suspect everyone who checks out this thread already knows that. I'm really hoping my next visit to TO coincides with seeing Mark play in whatever fashion he is playing in during the time I am there. Follow him on Instagram or Facebook to find out all the gigs he is appearing at. He pops up all over the place. Whatever it is is going to be g-damn stellar.
  17. I'm guessing you are referring to a Playing In The Uncle John's Band sandwich. Dates fail me now as a middle aged man. The one thing I recalled was that god-damn Dark Star you referenced. I havent heard this in years. Saddle up kids. This will take you to where you need to go. I never would have thought to look this up on the Youtube. Thanks NW!
  18. I suspect it was back to which from where you came, my friend
