Booche reacted to Velvet in Woodstock 50th anniversary concert reportedly in the works
I went to Woodstock '94. I didn't want to go but my girlfriend at the time convinced me to join her. I ended up having an amazing time and the whole thing was nothing but great vibes. Saw excellent music too: Dylan, Peter Gabriel, The Band, Metallica, Youssou N'Dour, The Allman's, RHCP, Santana...it was pretty great.
Who knows? Maybe it'll be pretty great again.

Booche reacted to Jaimoe in What are you listening to right now?
I met a Deadhead mom a few days ago (she was wearing Steal Your Face socks), and our conversation drifted to other bands, and she said she's never heard of MMJ (although does know Monsters of Folk). I told her to check out this performance and we'll talk. It's still one of the greatest one-offs I've ever seen, right up there with Neil Young doing "Rockin' In The Free World" on SNL.

Booche reacted to Jaimoe in Epic Covers
Kind of a cover, with Ronnie Lane doing his solo version of his old band The Faces's "Ooh La La" (the song is used in the Amazon Echo spot heard in seemingly every commercial break on TV right now):

Booche reacted to phorbesie in Claypool Lennon Delirium at the Danforth April 10
I was so excited until I realized I will be away that week and can't go.
Have fun folks!
On the heels of announcing their new album, South of Reality, The Claypool Lennon Delirium has shared the LP’s second single, “Easily Charmed By Fools”. In addition, the band has announced a 12-date 2019 spring tour.
The Claypool Lennon Delirium—led by Les Claypool and Sean Lennon—will open up their tour at Toronto, ON’s Danforth Music Hall on April 10th before stopping at Philadelphia, PA’s Fillmore (4/12); New Haven, CT’s College Street Music Hall(4/13); Boston, MA’s House of Blues (4/14); Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Steel (4/16); Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club (4/17); Asheville, NC’s Orange Peel (4/19); Nashville, TN’s Marathon Music Works (4/20); St. Louis, MO’s Delmar Hall (4/23); Minneapolis MN’s Varsity Theater (4/25); Chicago, IL’s Thalia Hall (4/26); and Detroit, MI’s Majestic Theatre (4/27).
In October, The Claypool Lennon Delirium announced the coming release of their second album together, South of Reality, due out February 22 via ATO. South of Reality is the follow-up to 2016’s Monolith of Phobos, the band’s debut record that displayed their fascinatingly raw authenticity, and 2017’s Lime And Limpid Green EP, which featured psychedelic covers of Pink Floyd, The Who, King Crimson, and Flower Travellin’ Band.

Booche got a reaction from Jaimoe in Epic Covers
Now THAT is one helluva a camera angle. Holyfuckin' shitballz!!!!!!!!!
I still dont understand what Lenny Breau did and I never will but if anyone ever wants to start a band named Lemmy Bro then count me in. We will do all Lenny Breau songs/covers within a Motorhead vein. Dont Think Twice It's Alright is gonna be a killer closer/encore.

I had that one too. I'd have to dig in storage, but there's a chance I still have it. I know I have all the CDs still that never arrived at my house.😇

I almost cried watching that cover of Never Been To Spain.
One of my very first cassettes via Columbia House. Part of the free 13 you could pick - The Best Of 3 Dog Night.
