Ryan Adams announced today that a new self-produced, self-titled album will be released on September 9 on Pax-Am/Blue Note. The second installment in the Pax-Am 7" series has also been confirmed, titled "1984". This limited edition 10 song, 7" album is available now for pre-order. This limited edition release is described as an "homage to the halcyon days of the earliest releases from Dischord, SST, Touch & Go and their ilk".
