    frig...I'm just about out here ...

    but maybe it's only cuz andre has been argumentative (sp? fuck it...good enoguh for me) and i'm listening to rynan adams adn missing my sammy cat

    in an hour i'll either be in bed or rockin' out on my drums! (maybe both! )

    I'm skeptical...very skeptical...but only because Shannon's voice was incredibly unique and intense. I really hope that this band can be as melting as it once was, but in its' own way.

    On a positive note, let's look at Velvet Revolver...how great did that become?

    I feel positive about this, and perhaps mostly because it doesn't seem to me that they forced it. It has been more than a decade, so there must be some sort of respect and understanding involved for the band.

    I'll never forget the morning after moe. in Troy, NY (I think that's where it was? halloween '02)...

    we're in the hotel, back and forth from the room to the car packing up, and jaybone comes strolling down the hall chatting up a storm with some guy...

    ::meet at the elevators::

    Jaybone: "Hey guys. Have you met my friend, Chuck?"

    With sunglasses tight over his eyes, and voice raspy, Chuck mustered, "Hey."

    edit to add...the story doesn't seem so exciting, but being there was freakin' hilarious! what a moment

  18. What Did You Do Today That WAs Exciting?

    I slept in, but still got to work on time.

    I spoke French (properly...although they still giggled a bit at my accent, or lack there of).

    I spoke my mind to my boss without looking or sounding annoyed.

    I was complimented 5 times regarding my quality of work (and ironically I wasn't working myself to the bone today).

    I made Andre laugh.

    I made myself laugh (I did something silly that I decided to just "run away" from...giggling with my hands over my mouth).

    I started my Christmas list...with hopes that I'll start shopping early enough that by the time Dec 25th rolls around that the only worry I'll have is that there is enough champagne to go around that morning.
