No specific tracks (yet) but for me there would have to be some Grateful Dead (I'd go with something from 1988 - 1991) and lots of reggae!
-
Tim - figured this may make your day bud:
Article from Billboard:
Wilco will provide added star power to Lollapalooza when it joins the tour for three shows this summer. The group has been added to the bill for dates outside Detroit (Aug. 3), Toronto (Aug. 6) and Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio (Aug. 12). Over the weekend, the Pixies confirmed they would play Lollapalooza dates in Ventura, Calif., and New York, while PJ Harvey is set to play select shows as well.
Lollapalooza kicks off July 14 outside Seattle and will boast two days of music in each city. The first day will feature such acts as Morrissey, Sonic Youth, Le Tigre, Modest Mouse and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club on the main stage. The second will feature String Cheese Incident, Gomez, Flaming Lips, the Thrills, the Polyphonic Spree, the Coup, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Elbow, Wheat and the Fire Theft.

Right on. Well, enjoy the show Will!
-
Well I'm not sure what kind of reaction you expected but I'm (we're) just teasin' ya for making a post regarding Jewel, Willy, like pals do. Don't take it personally.
-
Willy, we gotta talk...... :: :: ::

Meanwhile, over on PT...... they're busy complaining about the song titles!
Andre - whatchu talkin' about boy?

September gurls do so much
I was your butch and you were touched
I loved you well never mind
I've been crying all the time
December boys got it bad.
September gurls I don't know why
how can I deny what's inside
even thought I keep away
maybe we'll love all our days.
When I get to bed
late at night
that's the time
she makes things right
ooh when she makes luv to me
::

It's not *that* bad, but I agree it's not that hot. It's got a "Remain In Light" fell to it.
Apparently this is the track listing:
Scents and Subtle Sounds (Intro)
Undermind
The Connection
A Song I Heard the Ocean Sing
Army of One
Crowd Control
Maggie's Revenge
Nothing
Two Versions of Me
Access Me
Scents and Subtle Sounds
Tomorrow's Song
Secret Smile
Grind
Also, 1st run has a 25 minute bonus DVD. Of what, I dunno. ::
I can't wait to hear their new album!

Oh God I love beer so much it just fucking hurts! ::

You Are A Very Handsome Man.

Going to see the Fat Cats tonight :: and will make a point of also checking out the reggae DJ spinning in the lounge for sure!
Tomorrow, after an afternoon walk on the Chedoke trail I think I might stay in. My significant other will be out of town so I might just bunker down with some new music (Pat Metheny "Travels", hopefully the Phish Vegas shows), a good 'ol bowl, some cold Formosa Spring Lagers and have some quality MarcO time. On the other hand, I may go down to Pepper Jack's or to BNB in Brantford and get totally loaded. ::
Apart from that, reading, napping, cleaning, talking to myself, watching my neighbours get changed..... that kinda thing.
-
"btw - MarcO, how's that frog doing?
Still lickin it bro, still lickin it!
-
No Kev, not yet. But really, how could it be bad? I will make a point of checking it out sooner than later.
Really looking forward to getting down w/ tND this Summer! ::

"Administrative Assistant"
I archive legal files, basically, pushing paper all day and organizing things electronically. That's why I sit at a computer all day. Without this board I'd probably go completely, irrevocably insane. Seriously!
My real goal is to play goal in the NHL. I can't skate and am almost 30, but hey, you gotta start somewhere! ::

I saw him last time he was in Toronto and it was, quite simply, one of the finest concerts I've ever seen! Full of heart and humour, darkness and light, and of course some of the greatest songs you'll ever want to hear. It was amazing!
-
Jesus fuck I love beer.

Was it sexy?

Thanks Tim, I will hit this one up for sure!

Well, the Worcester '03 Moma is my new standard for all Moma's after T.O. '00, so I'm eagerly awaiting sinking my ears in the Vegas one! Soon!
Just listened to the Worcester one last night actually, it's phenomenal, unlike anything else I've heard Phish do.
Great tune, love the early "Black-Eyed Katy"s as well (see especially 11-23-97 Winston-Salem, NC. Wow!)

Pilate - is that the band with the annoying FM radio hit, goes "If I traded it all.... blah blah blah... for just one thing? wouldn't that be something?", acoustic guitar based, sounds like Extreme, but much, much worse?
