I'm not really sure what to call them, but strange occurrances like this seem to happen to me all the time. The most recent crazy happening involves a fellow skank.

As some folks on here know, I've been helping Lacey search high and low for a new apartment in Toronto. After three months of daily searches, I was so sick of looking. I think he was starting to wonder why in the hell he ever even moved here. Alas, he FINALLY finds a room at Christie Pits. Yay! A few weeks after the move Lacey was tidying up some paper work and noticed the name of the last tenant. It was none other than Mike Filipowitsch of Burt Neilson fame. Fucked up.

I thought it was an interesting coincidence, but I think Lacey figures I just know too many people.

Okay, so I'm a little late here, but I figured better late than never.

I had SO MUCH FUN last Friday night. The night did seem to fly by. I think I hugged all of you at least twice. It was wicked to see everyone. When I popped in the door and saw BB & PP I knew it was going to be an awesome night. I just wish that Sleepyhead and I could've stayed and the "Grand Mangle Station" longer. I hope the whole gang can make it out for the party on the 28th of Dec. I'm doing my best to organize Christmas around it. *fingers crossed*

Thanks to HM & DD for making me dance my buns off for a few hours there. It was great to see you guys. And wicked to see one of my old favourites, Studog, again. I sure do miss your harassment and threats to kick me down the stairs. Thanks for the beer, bitch.

Steve, I haven't had time to read all of the posts in this thread, but I do want you to know that I am thinking about you and your family and sending you the greatest, most amazing healthy good vibes that I can muster. One thing that scares the daylights out of me is the realization that my folks are growing older. I have read posts from people going through what you are going through and from folks who have lost a parent (good vibes still going out to you, BradM). I cannot imagine a scarier scenario.

I'm so happy to hear that the maple leaves made you smile. I'm sure I speak for all of us up here when I say that we are wishing your dad the best. I'll be thinking about you, buddy. I was thinking of writing a satirical "thank you for teaching me so much about hard work, respect and cooperation" card to my boss, but know the irony would be totally lost on her. It really is uncanny how feebleminded she is. If I didn't have her physical repugnance etched into my memory I'd assume she'd slept her way to the top. Worse still, is that her boss is even more useless.

I have opted to leapfrog those two sorry sacks and write a well worded letter to the human resources department at the Catholic board. I work in a public/Catholic consortium and their ignorance is conveniently hidden from the powers that be. AND, believe it or not, our computer use is monitored and I am listed as the most productive employee! Yeah, I didn't believe it either. [color:purple]I love how the person with the most education, with the greatest work load is the one receiving the smallest salary.

I will miss hearing from you guys on an hourly basis, but I won't ever miss this beige nightmare. I still have 1/2 an hour of lieu time left. I think I'm going to leave early and not even tell anyone. Hee hee hee...

Yes, my contract is up and I have vowed to never again work for the Catholic school board. I don't think I can really express to all of you (although some of you will understand) how absolutely busting with glee I am right now. I'm ecstatic, delirious, carefree. I'm practically drooling!

After telling my boss how colossally disappointed I am in her, I will be heading home to celebrate with an Operation Beige Liberation dinner party. Hurray! I have pink streamers and a fat ol' bottle of Jack Daniels. We're doing this up right kids.

I guess I'm really writing this to thank all of you wonderful folks for making the last 11 months of my life here tolerable. I hope you will all join me in making this weekend an extra silly one...wherever you may be. I'll be starting the festivities tonight and continuing them tomorrow at an open bar wedding.
