I don't like Neil's lyrics. They may be thought-provoking at times, but mostly his overy wordy lyrics aren't musically inclined. I have this image of Geddy getting lyrics dropped off for him for the first time and he goes "How the fuck am I going to sing this?"

Rush are undoubtedly great musicians, but they jumped the shark with Signals, a good album, but it signaled (no pun intended) their decline. One thing that bugs me about hard-core Rush fans is their militant defense of latter era Rush albums. Every core Rush fan that I've met (and there's lots of you) thinks early 80's to now albums are as good as their stuff from Rush's peak period. I thought my fucking co-worker was going to take an ill-advised swing at me because I thought Test For Echo wasn't as good as Moving Pictures. Fucking fat fucker. I'd beat his head in with my All The World's A Stage CD.

The one thing I don't like about sprouts is that when they are in salads, they have a tendency to soak-up a lot of the dressing, making them pretty darn potent and soggy.

I hope everyone read the link posted by AD? I won't touch sprouts from grocery stores. If I grew my own, maybe I'd eat them, but my sprout days are pretty much over.

Of course you have to stretch you belief in Dexter, as you do in every series on TV. Prison Break is outrageous, Denis Leary's Tommy Gavin is a lousy hockey player, Lost..., Pullo in Rome is a "likable" assassin etc... I do find Michael C. Hall's performace great and he deserves the nominations he's gotten this year.

There's nothing wrong with Season I, and you should watch it first.

And if you don't buy Dexter as a killer - and I think Michael C. Hall is well cast as does the writer and creator of the Dexter novels from whence he was spawned - then stop watching the show.

I agree with Booche regarding some of the acting, but not with his critique of Dexter. The struggle Dexter has with emotions is what I find the most intriguing within the show's various plot. I won't be an appologist for Season I, which I liked a lot, but II is more rewarding both in acting, storyline and Dexter's inner struggles with a demon he either can live with, or one he can only control.

He'a a withdrawn kind of guy, quite the opposite to Rolen's outgoing personality. I believe Glaus when he said the turf really affected his play and health.

They aren't favourably comparable here: RBI 1,012 778 GOLD GLOVES 7 0 I'm glad Rolen is a Jay and I found his press conference to be one of the funniest in recent memory. Dan Shulman said that Rolen when healthy, is the best position player in baseball.

Hey Davey Boy, I hated Eddie Rabbit, but guilty as charged for liking Billy Squier (although I never owned his albums, that was Al), but not "The Stroke". I was more into "In The Dark".

I've drank lots of Brugal and still have a bit left from my trip of three of four years ago (I'm not a ron/rum drinker). It's strong stuff, but surprisingly smooth mixed with the right juice or pop.
