I just picked up two GA tickets for Toronto from the Stripes website. I concur that it's amazing they are still available.
Yeah never mind what I said earlier. I just got 2 for GA floor myself off their website. Thanks for the heads up. Ever since I bought Beck tix the moment they went on sale and ended up about as far away from the stage as possible only to find out they put the floor tix on sale a week before the show I've been reluctant to jump the gun. Cant wait for this show!

Yeah everytime I buy tickets right when they go on sale I get screwed into sort of good seats. Than a few weeks before the show they start selling the floor seats!! I hate that. I think I'll wait until closer to the show.

"Emo Beavers" of course.

I have a Turser acoustic electric that i use to teach lessons. It was $500 so I guess its sort of highend for a Jay Turser. I use it for hours everyday and I've had it for 4 years and haven't had the slightest problem with it. That is after I had to return the one I originally bought because it was screwed but hey. As far as electrics go I don't know.

Truly awesome. I'll hit Toronto, but I don't think I can make the Iqaluit gig. Oh well maybe next time.

Sweet! Looks like another night off work to plan........

"If everyone who had a gun would just shoot themselves, we wouldn't have a problem." - George Harrison
Call it insensitive, or what you will but this quote just seems to make more sense to me as time goes on.........

Beavers of Sadness
Hilarious. You should change Harmonic Tide's name to that. And start playing Canadiana emo.
Emo Beavers

Is it just me or is there a striking resemblance?

$160 an hour!? I'm in the wrong business!!

Cool. My favorite is the Beavers of Sadness happily sinking.

Nice, Kanada Kev. Devastatin' Dave is the shit.
Speaking of shit, here's another one:
What the hell? What jackass record executive approved that one!!! Plus, why does she have one shoe off? Is she about to beat herself over the head with it? Or maybe one of her legs is shorter than the other and she can't quite pinch one out to the best of her ability without removing her right shoe!!

Thanks jayr!! I didn't realize you had hand delivered it!!
By ,the way, I checked out your new myspace and I like Ancient Honda.I'm too lazy to find the actual thread you started.
It made me laugh that you listed Luke P as an influence!!
As to JBT-he is awesome and I would go see him irregardless of whether I like the new album or not.
Well not to go off topic here but its http://www.myspace.com/jrobinsonmusic
10:00 in the morning I'll be ordering my tickets for the Toronto show. It is on a Wednesday but I guess I can take another night off work!!

I loved JBT when I first heard them years ago.
I jumped in my boyfriends truck tonight though and he had the new album (Grand National) in the disc player.Maybe it was my mood, but I HATED it.Like skipping thru each song after a few notes hated it.
I'll give it another shot for sure though.
Really? Good to know you guys found it, I left it on your door and I wasn't sure if you guys would find it before it ended up on the ground or something. For me, this is the only disc I have bought since Beck's Information that I thought was actually worth the money. I'll be at the show without a doubt.

Sweet!

Yeah I've decided to make a myspace music page for myself. Its really just for fun but feel free to check it out. Feedback is welcome.

"The strangest thing I've tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father," Richards was quoted as saying by British music magazine NME.
"He was cremated and I couldn't resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow. My dad wouldn't have cared," he said. "... It went down pretty well, and I'm still alive."
Only Keith could get away with that

Well I'm no scientist but pollution and C02 being spewed into my atmosphere concerns me alot more than Terrorist threats. I think articles like this (Right above my post) just confuses people and stops them from taking any action. It also fuels the "Well theres nothing we can do about it" mindset. I dont call climate change a non-issue, hey but that me.........
What are you listening to right now?
