  1. But Bob McKenzie says no... http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=290650
  2. Booche can't touch me because even nhl.com is reporting the rumour. http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=498189
  3. Yeah, sorry if this turns out to be bunk. I took ESPN as a pretty credible source, and I had heard it speculated on Sportsnet just a few minutes previous to seeing it online.

  5. Pittsburgh Atlanta Cincinnati Minnesota Indianapolis New Orleans Dallas Carolina Baltimore NY Jets NY Giants Arizona Seattle Green Bay New England San Diego We need a tie breaker to decide weekly winners, no? How about combined total score of both Monday night games? 84
  6. Thanks for the comparison! I listened to the stereo and mono back to back. My first impression was that the stereo mix was better. I like its separation and oomph! But listening to snippets back to back, the change is key is really noticeable! So in that sense I think the mono is better. I'm going to pick up a few discs but am undecided on the mix for now. Thanks again!
  7. I don't get the spin that this is going to introduce The Beatles to a whole new generation of fans. I somehow doubt the tweens were just waiting for the catalogue to be remastered before getting on the bus.
  8. Knew I'd curse the team for posting that.
  9. Would you hear a difference if you weren't doing a direct comparison or if no one told you there was a difference though? I'm sure the new discs sound great but there's a whole lot of marketing going on here! And why would anyone be clamouring for a remastered product to be put on iTunes in 128K mp3 format?
  10. When's the Montreal date and where are tickets on sale?
  11. Subject line confusion. Top Chef smokes Hell's Kitchen, IMO. When do new episodes air?
  12. Is the Darien video the same source as the YouTube vids?
  13. That's pretty damn good. Certainly made me reflect on some incidents where I didn't have to be such a high and mighty pedestrian myself.
  14. Saw this a few years ago. People are fucked.

    BEER!!

I've tried it and it's pretty great, actually prefer it to the lager and pilsener. It's only available at select liquor stores. The LCBO on Rideau at King Edward had some. It's a limited run so I'm not sure if there's any left.
  16. Yeah, I understand there are times when following the rules of the road is too dangerous for a cyclist. And I certainly don't get bothered by kids or seniors biking on the sidewalk. It's the cyclists who behave with the kind of reckless abandon that I very rarely see from drivers that bug me. And there are a lot of them.
  17. Not with anywhere near the same frequency though.
  18. Asshole behaviour is asshole behaviour. I'm not going to cut a cyclist some slack just because he or she might have been angered by a driver. Is that really what you're asking?
  19. Anyone have a spare demonoid invite I can have? Thanks!!
  20. Almost every cyclist I see on my bus/walk to work is breaking a traffic law - riding on the sidewalk, going through red lights, ignoring stop signs, going the wrong way down a one-way street. In the past two days I saw ONE cyclist walking her bike on the sidewalk. The other day I almost got taken out by a cyclist on the sidewalk who nearly clipped me as I got off the back of the bus. I really do think that, in general, drivers are more conscious of the risk they pose to pedestrians. Cyclists seem to have an "I'll do what I want" attitude which is really ugly and does nothing to further the cause of road safety.
  21. Pretty specious of you to bring Eduardo into this.
