This Friday and Saturday, October 5 and 6, 2012, the first festival organized by IMOO (the Improvising Musicians of Ottawa / Outaouais) will be held at Club SAW in Ottawa, ON. IMOO has been around for a couple of years now, running small concerts at Umi Cafe on Somerset every other Sunday or so. Their mission statement is IMOOFEST 2012 is their latest project, taking place over two nights at Club SAW: The fest is $15 per night, or $25 for a two-night pass. They'll also be launching their second compilation CD, and maybe some new t-shirts. I'll be there both nights. Aloha, Brad
