[h2]Buggy driver found drunk[/h2] PERTH COUNTY (Jan 23, 2007) A 29-year-old man is facing several charges after he was found drunk at the reins of a horse and buggy yesterday morning. Two OPP officers were responding to an unrelated call in eastern Perth County at about 5 a.m. when both cruisers were forced to get out of the way of a buggy being driven in a "dangerous manner" on Line 55. They arrested the driver for being drunk in a public place and delivered him to a police holding cell to sober up. He was also charged with careless driving and having open liquor.
