  1. downloading live music makes me want to go buy the studio if i like it. i will support the music i get for free (the hundreds of disks, hundreds of hours) by paying $15 or $20 for a studio.

i do prefer, however, to buy directly from the band if at all possible. specially with bands from the US. it's A LOT cheaper to buy from them when they're here, or through their website then have HMV order it in.

i also buy a lot of used records, if i can get it used, i'll take it, rather than buying new.

  2. dude, that sucks....i doubt it had anything to do with your postings here. your house looks like every other house in your area...and i don't think lazlo's that hard for cash right now. somehow he still has regular customers that pay for a piece of his ass nightly.

seriously though, it really blows you've been a victim of a b&e twice now. i've lived here a majority of my life and never had anythign like that happen *knock on wood* and i rarely lock my doors. if you wanna come smoke a bowl or somethin, i'm off work all day.

  3. i too used to own a sunfire, which was total crap. but i think it was just a lemon. i got it new off the lot and had to take it back 4 days later, wouldn't go higher than 2nd gear.

a friend has a cavalier which is a late 90's model i think and she hasn't had many problems with it. i would talk to a mechanic you trust about if there's any damage to the engine from the accident. once a car's been in a major accident it's never really the same.

edit to add: not all american cars stnmtn, i drive an 89 buick and it's been alright, would be better if i took better care of it.

edger, keep your camry if it's good for awhile longer. i'm sure a better deal will come your way in that time.

  4. What other names/words have a silent "ck"?

I mean I don't understand why he is not reffered to as cock-burn.

Sadly I can't avoid thinking cock-burn and not co-burn whenever I see his name.

He certainly is a wonderful player/musician.

i have always thought this exact same thing

  5. actually, when i went back to the casbah after it's hiatus, i went to see drums and tuba. i thought (and so did everyone i was with, some board members, some not) that it was louder than usual. almost TOO loud. but i couldn't remember if d&t was that loud usually as it had been a long time. and i couldn't remember if the casbah was that loud all the time. then i thought maybe it was just the fact that the place was kinda empty. who knows. sounds like i might need to come out on the 10th and check it out again!

  6. i'm tall, not that tall, but tall, i've never really thought about it. if someone said somethign to me about it, like they did to my 6 foot friend "uhhh, i've been here the whole show, and you're tall and i can't see, move. and stop dancing!" i would kindly tell them to go fack themselves and probably purposely stand right in front of them, for how long would depend entirely on how rude they were.

i'm very considerate of others when i go to shows. and i expect others to obsere the same rules. i'll enforce em, and have been enforced myself....but honestly, i'm with super freak on this one!
