  1. Just curious, does not every show announcement, etc. have the possibility of getting buried?
  2. I'm a quarter of the way in and enjoying it so far! I agree about the connection with Phil's perspectives.
  3. Great time on Friday! I felt extra much like dancing for some reason Friday and this crazy little back room wedding party provided the perfect forum for losing it! Congrats Scot and Becky!
  4. That's great bouche! What an experience that must've been. Anyone know if that Hamilton show has taken place already?
  5. Happy birthday Stapes! I think you smile widest than anyone!
  6. My DVD player only suuports regular dvd files. I have many times in the past converted files to make a playable dvd for my player.. that is not new. It does take a while but it is worth it to be able to make rando comps and be able to giev them to others, etc. I plan to get a differnet format compatible player in the future... they are quite inexpensive these days. The link paisley provided is good in that it converts first, and then you download the file. I have used one in the past that I was albe to download the Youtube (etc.) file... I have a bunch on my computer that I can watch using... umm, some VLC program.. I just can't figure out how to convert them. So yeah, the program paisley provided is good because it does that conversion I was wanting and I am able to make a regular dvd from there (with more conversion using a dvd creating program - MyDVD Plus, or something like that.) jayr: Use that link paisley provided. You just get the Youtube video url and paste it into the window there and hit go or something. It converts whatever format it is in on Youtube into an AVI and when it's done you download it to your computer.
  7. Thanks paisley. Missed you on the weekend buddy!
  8. Hi, I am able to save Youtube (etc.) videos to my computer and watch them. Does anyone know what I have to do to make a dvd out of the files? As far as I can tell, the files have no extension associated with them after saving to my computer. I've been messing with a programs called 'Super' but I don't know what is going on with that. Thanks.
  9. Bash a bashy bashday bashful bsherman!
  10. I went to the Ron Mueck exhibit in Scotland and thoroughly enjoyed it. I snapped this photo of the mountain man: NSFW!
  11. Nice pics Birdy! Yeah, the lighting was a bit sparse towards the back of the stage. Here's a couple of Studog's shots: Here's a link to download the ~ 5 minute video I shot on my camera. Some good jamming here!: Diesel Dog at Twisters 28 April 2007
  12. Can't view the vid at work (or at home with sound) but was wondering... was Mark the one responsible for ripping off The Andrea True Connection in making Len's only hit song?
  13. Yeah, you better make it down for the next one, Baj! You missed a great time! I have a SERIOUSLY messy apartment to come home to today! Ugh, the final guest left FINALLY at 8:30 last night... about 30 seconds before I passed out for the night! All good times though! You are very welcome. Babsy and I are eager to do it all again! We'll keep you posted!
  14. GAINSBOROUGH, Thomas: The Blue Boy The one I have hanging on my wall has the eyes poked out! Some strange intruder must have did it because when I returned from home after the weekend none of my college roomates had any idea how it happened! I will never solve that mystery.
  15. What a wicked show on Saturday! I have never before witnessed Diesel Dog bring jams to the level they did on Saturday night. Listen to the Fishin' With the Skipper when the SBD recording surfaces for evidence of this intensity! It was great to see some of the regular 'dance club' bar patrons getting down too! One hip hop guy was dancing super hard!! (And I don't mean QQC or Thorgnor ) It was awesome! I am really looking forward to hearing the recording of Madgrass' opening set with special guests Diesel Dog's Ryan and Floyd sitting in on a couple songs. I couldn't hear much of it from the door but received great feedback about it from people. Big thanks to all that made it such an enjoyable evening!
