I happened across the student pub yesterday afternoon, and they had this Scottish guy in for the entertainment whose schtick was to swallow goldfish and then bring them back up again alive into the glass. He went all-out with the sound effects, too (are they effects, though, if they're the real noises?), using a mic with a really ramped-up bottom end, and I swear I nearly lost it the first time he went through it. He was pretty impressive, though - he could swallow a film cannister, its lid, and two fish, and somehow get them into the thing and get the lid on before bringing them back. I presume there must be a trick, but it beats me what it could be. Sorry for the story, but I'm just doing my bit to move this thread onto the next page, as requested .
