StoneMtn
How eloquent. The author of that email says it all: Self-serving, inarticulate morons who want to get rich voted Bush.

MarcO
Nasty stuff indeed. It really goes to show how almost bitterly divided the US is these days. THis kind of partisan sniping is all pretty shocking just observing it, imagine living it, where neighbour goes against neighbour. It wasn't always like this. Once upon a time, the two main parties were expected to bicker, yes, but also come together when the opportunity demanded. Personally, I blame the Clinton impeachment hearings for creating the divide that is playing out now, where all one side has to do is say "up" and the other will say "down", no matter what hangs in the balance. ollie
Just to prove they're not all bad, I got this from a friend who lives on Long Island, NY. Subject: The Gates of Hell have opened Funny, it is a beautiful thing to have Yankee fans and Boston fans come together and fight for something A LOT bigger then baseball!! New Yorkers never rooted harder for a guy wearing a Boston Redsox Hat!! So its in the books now.. we have to accept it. The fact that for the 1st time in American history, so many people have based their vote on religious beliefs and let relgion affect their decision for who to vote for...this makes me sick to my stomach. What the fu©k is wrong with this country!?! And as well, we have to once again blame it on the young voters...with SO MANY more young people registereing this time then last time, yet the only the same amount of people int he 18-25 yr range came out to vote as in 2000. If half of all those young people who registered, came out to vote, then this could be a different story. I tell ya, Jim you killed me with your exit polls, because I thought we'd pull it out..I really did! I'm tellin ya I am all set to move up to Montreal!! At least before we go to war with Iran and have a draft..and before this country turns into relgious fascism... The country is even more divided now.
