bradm
The Golden Dogs (with Tier 3 and Argyle) are playing Cafe Dekcuf in Ottawa tonight, Wednesday, March 9. I think the cover's only $8, and, if the reports on TGD are any indication, this may be a rare chance to see them in such a small venue. I think the doors open at 8pm, with the show alleged to start at 9pm. I'll be there, who else?Aloha,Brad
Booche
I got a stupid fuggin interview for a promotion the following morning at 9am, else I would be there in a second. People should REALLY make it out to this.

bradm
Minor possibly get-you-off-the-fence update: a post in the JamHub roll call for this show from a user named "Tier_Three", whom I assume is part of the band of the same name, says the cover is only $6, not $8. The only problem is that the website for Tier 3 (the band, not that user) says $8. Thus, I remain confused. Excited, but confused. Del
meggo, be strong! I'm sort of leaning towards a "go for awhile" plan, but that always ends up the same way - me hurting when that alarm clock goes off at 5:30am... meggo, give me a call if you end up wanting to hit this, maybe we can be each other's support group (and actually leave somewhat sober and at a decent hour)... Velvet
The show was an ass-kicker to be sure. Great band. Their headlining set was 40 minutes long. Great, great time.

TheSloth
I'm a bit late on the draw with this post but I've just got to say the Golden Dogs were fu©king great. I was totally blown away. Sure the set was short but I think the crowd was a factor in that (fairly subdued - they seemed to love it but hardly anyone put two hands together for an encore). The band is dedicated to massive ass kicking rock and weirdness. When they covered 'Me and My Arrow' off the Harry Nilsson album 'The Point' I nearly died. Anyway thanks for the hype Luke, they lived up to it.
