hamilton
Leonard Cohen, Songs From A Room. What can I say? All the Leonard Cohen chatter over the last couple oif days made me pull this off the shelf and throw it in the player. As always, excellent. Jaimoe
I'm close to finishing my review for this upcoming tribute album. It's a great blues record by a virtually unknown Philly band called Blues Anatomy and a couple of guest guitarists Jef Lee Johnson and Joe Mass. Goode Per Todd Parker: "Let me try to briefly tell you the story of it. A guy I used to work with used to be a cameraman at some country theatre in Branson, MO (Roy Clark, I think). He would run the feed for the screens in the auditorium. While working there, he became good friends with the dude who actually shot this. The guy was an employee of the Grateful Dead (at least that night I suppose) and he put his own camera on the screens as he was shooting his angle of the feeds. Well, this guy gave the friend of mine (who isn't even a Dead fan) a copy of this show as well as other non-Dead shows he did the same thing on."
