ollie
Would be nice if we didn't have to put up so many goals to get a win though.I didn't see much of the game, was it Emery or defence?
AD
at least one fluke goal. i thought emery played very well.the panthers will be skating on the canal at some point today, according to the paper.

Booche
Stupid Muckler contract. That makes me laugh pretty hard. If anyone recalls, the Sens had a choice between Chara and Redden. The Army was SCREAMING for them to resign Redden and let Chara go. Boy have things changed. So who were they going to trade for Ollie? If it was Marleau, I am willing to bet that would have been the end of fans loving Brian Murray in this town. The D would be alot thinner than it already is but you would also see a forward come to Ottawa who is carrying a far worse contract than Redden and you would be stuck with him for the next couple of seasons. AD
as long as they're healthy i'm 100% ok with that. they demolished montreal. that was embarrassing.
rubberdinghy
yeah....but seriously AD....CMON!!! 6-1 should have been scored by all the lines....12 guys should have been on the board
Booche
While the Habs didnt play well at all, the Sens top line brought the heat. That being said they got all the bounces. There was the gift by Huet and 2 batted out of the air. MTL hits at least 3 posts and miss out on a glorious puck sitting in front of the net that no one seemed to know where it was. The score could have been much different but Ottawa deserved this win far more than MTL.At one point I asked DaveO if TurtlePleks was even playing. I dont recall a more invisible game from him.Oh yeah, Scott Morrison said earlier in the day that the trade with San Jose would have brought Matt Carle and a draft pick to the Sens for Redden. That makes alot more sense than getting Marleau. I didnt understand that one.
dave-O
So, umm, Ottawa's top line is pretty good eh?
AD
booche, could you recap the score? i know you're busy rationalizing everything but, it was 6-1, you know?and little tits got smoked by redden, that was awesome.
Booche
Yes AD. It was six 2 one. I thought Wade had a focused game tonight and should have proven to the city of Ottawa that he wants to play here.Is that what you wanted from me? Jaimoe
That is a great deal for the Sens. Commodore is a solid playoff defenseman and Stillman is one of the more underrated players in the league. Well done. If the Sens can sign one of the two players after the season, then it's still a good deal.
AD
i hear commodore is penalty-prone. but at least it's not crazy-legs-"let's take a wrist shot from the point" corvo.
