Maybe they should of started the Promo last December... obviously March wasn't soon enough. This is just another bump in the road towards the 2009 Toronto Music Renaisence. Kaidy Mae
Really? I'll tell my sis to go. She's in the Peter Patch. I'll be gettin' down to Blue Quarter in Steel town. Too bad AD. You've really peaked my curiousity about these guys.
shainhouse
That's unfortunate. They tried really hard to make that happen. It would have been really beneficial musically for Toronto.
Jay Funk Dawg
The people who put this all on just didn't know what there were doing. They had a hand-shake deal with the Exhibition Place and it's Unionized Productions people, who pretty much changed the rules once they saw how big a show they were going to put on. I hear also that their sponsors also didn't come thru with the funding they thought they were getting, so they were spending $ they didn't really have. Thirdly Toronto is such a poor sport, they didn't have the ticket sales they needed to really mount the show.

zero
Not surprising, pretty adventurous programming with questionable organization behind it.
Kaidy Mae
Can't wait to meet 41 new people. Hahaha! I'll pass the word along. Provided she's not overwhelmed with her new course load (which by the sounds of it she is) I'll make sure she gets there. What time do you guys start tomorrow at the Gypsy?
