bradm Posted February 13, 2006 Report Share Posted February 13, 2006 This weekend at Winterlude in Ottawa, Daniel Lanois is playing on Friday night (7:30pm start, at the American Express Snowbowl on the Rideau Skateway), and Stars are playing on Saturday night (also a 7:30pm start, also at the Snowbowl). AD Posted February 13, 2006 Report Share Posted February 13, 2006 I went down this past weekend for K'Naan and DobaCaracol and it was fuuuuuuuun. So cold, but it was a huge dance party with a really good DJ between sets. Lots of room on the platform to move around, good sound.... Loved it.Will definitely be there for both shows this weekend. Probably wanna get there early, at least for Lanois. I imagine it will be packed down there. And dress warm, the wind can be a bother when it whips down the canal.
