Esau
I've tried replying to Drawbar's St.Fatties thread and when I hit reply, I am told the "Subject is too long" and am brought back to edit my reply, so, I condensed it down to just "In!" and was also told the same thing.Anyone else have this issue? bouche
yeah....i'm not sure what the limit is, but you can create a topic with a title that allows for a longer string than when someone replies to it.i think there's a fix for that soon.I've made the title shorter. reply away. mattm
According to this it's fixed in FusionBB 1.1 and had to do with special characters that take up more space once converted... They're just at alpha testing for V1.1 though so the best thing is to keep subjects short.http://www.fusionbb.com/forum/showtopic.php?tid/3540 Edited March 7, 2006 by Guest

bouche
1.1 is still in Alpha. I'm on the testing team, and as soon as it's beta, I'll upgrade the site here as it can use a real good community like this to get some suggestions and find more little bugs. mattm
Have you had a chance to play much with the 1.1 alpha? Any really good new improvements? Sorry, I love troubleshooting and testing new things. Nothing beats new fangled devices and software (well, lots of things like women beat them but you know what I mean). bouche
I've been pushing them for a new interface to make posting articles easier, and they've delivered. I can't wait to use it. It's very wiki-ish. It allows me to easily upload and float images anywhere.
mattm
Here's something I just noticed. If I click on dima's shit post but choose all it will only display up until the end of page 5 (thegoodrev's post) when there are actually a couple more posts on page 6 but I don't see a link to go to the next page. bouche
yeah, all is configurable by admin...imagine selecting ALL in a 20 page thread. who needs ALL for more than 5 or six pages?
