SteveThe Owl
I heard that Daylight Savings starts this weekend. It's something I didn't want to hear. It's one hour less I have to recover from Friday night. Don't forget to change your clocks Saturday night.
bouche
I've been getting woken up way too early the past few weeks from sunlight at 5:45. I actually have been looking forward to this DST. The sun shouldn't shine until 7 and it shouldn't set until 9. YEEEHAW!

mattm
hey, it's spring forward right (yes, i get mixed up and also still have to make the L with my hand to get left and right half the time)? So that means there's an extra hour of bars being open saturday night, wooo hooo (then again, I probably won't go out unless there's something good anyway but wooo hooo for those that are). bradm
No, going forward (which we do in the spring: "spring forward, fall back") doesn't mean bars are open an extra hour: that happens in the fall, because the clocks get set back at 2am, which is when bars have to stop serving in Ontario, so the clocks go from 2am to 1am, giving you the extra hour. In the spring, we go from 2am directly to 3am.Aloha,Brad

mattm
Damnit bradm, you're right. It is in the fall. See how mixed up I get. If my computer didn't automatically change the time I probably wouldn't change any of my clocks and be late/early for a couple days.
