that's some good solid traack listin's you got there... a tad heavy on the Prefuse and madlib though...there's a funk load of stuff that could go on there as well...Coldcut, Roots Manuva (or anything from Ninja Tune really) DJ Krush, Souls of Mischeif, Gangstarr, Mr. Lif...but over all not a bad set of mixes...

glad to see the hip hop appreciation though...

I'm sure we could add another 10 volumes to this mix.. but all in all I see where the guy was going with this mix and I think he did a good job accomplishing what he set out to do.

He even introduced me to a couple of bands I didn't know..

Shit it's hard to stay ahead of this bunch. Everyone's tossing around all the good indy hip hop artists that would appeal to our breed. Others not mentioned are Th'Corn Gang (Busdriver, Jaime and Nick from Unicorns/Islands), Aceyalone of course plus Dose One (or Subtle w. Dose). Those last three will really appeal I am certain, not sure if you can get Corn Gang stuff on the net.

As far as those mixes they're great. Daylight is a great choice from Aesop Rock (with what was likely an undeclared Beasties sample)- what really has to be heard though is Nightlight back to back with Daylight - it's like lexicographically, semantically and syllabically in reverse- serious word play.
