Pablo Sanchez
So I'm sitting here at home tonight drinking beer and working on my triads and I'm listening to a uber fantabulous guitarist named Wayne Krantz. Mr. Punky introduced him to me a couple of years ago and I gotta say that Wayne Krantz is the absolute shit on guitar. He has that elusive spark and fire and soul that is missing from almost every fusion guitarist. As far as guitar music I couldn't think of a more perfect player. (right now ) He also has a wonderful book out called "An improvisors OS" The album I"m listening to is "Two drink Minimum" recorded live in some tiny bar in Manhatten. Check out Wayne Krantz if you are interested. plenty of audio there.

peipunk
YES! Wayne Krantz is the shit. I got into that amazing album you have (2 Drink Minimum) after seeing him play with Steely Dan in '96. I knew you would like that album...."that elusive spark", nice choice of words. P.S. I'm sorry you missed Wilco Dave, they tore my fucking head off Thursday night in Fredricton. Edited July 17, 2006 by Guest
zero
I've followed him for awhile as well. Very well regarded in a small circuit and on a larger stage.
