Blane
I actually much prefer the FOB Neumann source of this show to the SBD. HUGE Bass, and great band-audience banter (let phil sing).
Dr_Evil_Mouse
Thanks, jon.. First fresh sbd in a while, so I'm just soaking it in. Having just listened to the Jack Straw, I imagine the bass mighta made marrow in the audience bubble, but as far as straight-out energy goes, well, so far so good . localcrew
And here's a video of the second set that's pretty good quality. I was at this show and Phil was a monster......it seemed his bass was coming up from the ground somewhere in the area as opposed to from the P.A......and with the Dead who knows maybe Phil thought that too....Link
CyberHippie
Wow does this ever sound good! I've got some good phones on, part way through Iko, and I'm having an eargasm. I'm going in to do a set of work, this show is going to get me through nicely.
