- Carey Price was awesome.

- There were Sens fans there but they didn't feel like cheering. Was it the Tuesday night thing? Pathetic. Probably not the best game for "fan appreciation night".

- Sens AND Habs fans were leaving with 10 minutes left.

- Kanata Kev is a big choad.

Your experience was stupid.

Before the game, I saw this long haired Sen fan, possibly a chick, trying to get in the face of 40-something Hab fans by quietly stating "Go Sens Go" and I thought "Who is that dumbass dingleberry?"

The Hab fans just destroyed him. All of a sudden the Sens fan came into focus.

It was you. How embarrassing.

For those of you that were at the game last night, and forgot to set your VCRs/PVRs to record the game, you can see a shitty quality stream here...

Habs' Price named Rookie of the Month

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price has been selected as the NHL's top rookie for the month of March.

Price posted a record of 7-3-0 with a 2.67 goals-against average and one shutout in 10 games last month, helping the Canadiens to their first division title since the 1991-92 season.

In five of his 10 starts, he allowed two goals or fewer.

Other candidates for the monthly honor included Edmonton center Sam Gagner, Washington center Nicklas Backstrom, Chicago right wing Patrick Kane and Los Angeles goaltender Erik Ersberg.

Anyone check out Huet's stats since the trade? They are spectacular, something like like a 1.75 GAA.

Apparently there is a bit of a "flu bug" going through the team, and Kovalev and Grabs missed practice last night and are questionable for the next game. Hamrlik also had a "therapy" day yesterday, and you really have to wonder how much damage was done to that knee...

Seeing as how our D corps is decimated, there was only one logical thing to do- call up a couple of wingers from Hamilton!

Word has it that Chipchura was on his way back up, but he suffered a shoulder injury and is out 7-10 days.

Either way, I doubt that Stewart and D'Agostini will last until the playoffs, and it's probably just a look-see by Carbonneau to see what these guys got.

In other news the defending Calder Cup champion Bulldogs have officially been eliminated from the playoffs.
