timouse
municipal election turnout is generally even lamer than provincial or federal...that shouldn't be. this is where the decisions that affect your quality of life are made. go and vote!!! Deeps
Voted.Seems that Guelph turnout will be better than in years past.Hoping for a victory for Karen Farbridge instead of the incumbant Kater Quarrie who ran last time on the platform that she'd bring WalMart to Guelph. She undoubtedly has padded pockets courtesy of the developers that are turning our south end into Mississaugaesque sprawl.Bleh.
phishtaper
Voted.Seems that Guelph turnout will be better than in years past.sweet. this may be the most important city election in Guelph's history, so a big turnout is great. stay the course with high growth under pro-development, and fiscally tight, Quarrie, or return to responsible growth, and community supportive, governance under Farbridge. I really hope it the latter. Cheers, Deeps!

bradm
I live in Ward 17 - Capital in Ottawa. Where the hell do I vote at?Contact either the Municipal Elections Office @ 613-580-2660 (elections@ottawa.ca) or the Citty of Ottawa @ 311 (311@ottawa.ca).You could also tryhttp://app01.ottawa.ca/pollingstations/search-action.do?action=1(I tried your address, Freeker, and it came back saying no voters were registered there, so I don't know what your and your housemates' statuses are.)If you don't have your voter notice with you when you get to the polling station, you'll be asked to show identification.Aloha,Brad
phishtaper
yes, if you have ID that shows that address they will accept that as proof you can vote. or, if you have two pieces of mail with your name and address (phone bill sorta stuff, not porn orders, preferably) that would be good too. but, call the city, or visit that website to locate and make sure you go to the right polling station. cheers. hamilton
DiIanni is a twit. Glad to hear that the voters realized it. I don't have the slightest clue who Fred Eisenberger is, but I hope he can get some things accomplished downtown.
