If you get upset about the Ronnets going in you'd have to get upset about 1/2 of the other shitty acts that are enshrined there.Music isn't like sports, it can't have a hall of fame. Just think if something this tacky was tried with literature or painting. It wouldn't happen. This place in Cleveland is just a well financed wax musseum with a good stereo system. Todays music might not be the same without them.Check your copy of Murmur or Reckonging or even Document for the evidence.Granted I hate everything after Adventures in Hi Fi, but you have to give them their props. As I was hanging out with a piece of The Wall and my dad was checking out Roy Orbison's shades.REM - yes, influential, yes some good songs. But on the whole I can't stand listening to Stipe.
