Definitely the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in. Cool back patio to chill on, kitchen, tv, computers in the rec room, Bedrooms and bathrooms are decent. I don't know what the price is regularly, we had to pay extra because it was new years. PalacePrincess Posted January 10, 2007 Report Share Posted January 10, 2007 i stayed here and it was great -- not too expensive, no cockroaches , AWESOME central location. the room we got was a bit small, but i only had to share it with one other person so it was totally fine for us. how many of you are going? it appears they have different kinds of rooms you can get, maybe there's a better one for squishing lots of people in. http://www.newyorkerhotel.com/ it's clean & they have a huge & very impressive-looking chandelier in the lobby. plus it's sorta famous, you'll find references to it in all kinds of pop culture-y things.
