MoMack
Internet explorer did an update to #7 on me and I HATE it. A moment of weakness/stupidity it was. Anyone have any suggestions? Can I revert back somehow? Is there a different browser? I don't like the "open in new tabs" one. In fact, I like IE6 (I know I'm not supposed to admit it).Any suggestions? bouche
What's wrong with it? It is definitely an improvement over IE6.what about Firefox? I use it almost exclusively.

ollie
What's wrong with it? It is definitely an improvement over IE6. You've never met an upgrade that you didn't like. MoMack, I'd go with Firefox and disable the tab browsing if you don't like it so much.
Esau.
Hey Laforge, why not just do this.1. Launch IE7. 2. Click on Tools, then select Internet Options. 3. Click on General tab. 4. Locate the Tabs section and then click on Settings button. 6. Uncheck “Enable Tabbed Browsingâ€. 7. Click OK exit. Or try this site, although I've never downloaded from it so I can't validate if shit works. But they have IE6 available.http://www.oldapps.com/internet_explorer.htm
phishtaper
unlike IE6, you can actually uninstall IE7. but it doesnt remove IE from your computer, it just reverts back to a (supposedly) clean copy of IE6.i tend to use firefox and netscape, but netscape has been crashing on me a lot lately, especially on the globeandmail.com site, for some odd reason. bouche
You'll probably get used to Tabs, and in fact you'll love them when you realize that you're not opening up a shitload of windows. Your taskbar will be much cleaner.
