Jaimoe
So if he calls a good game with all the Jays pitchers and pitching is the key to almost every team's success, then he should be the starter.
djmelbatoast
Zaun was named in the Mitchell report don't forget. If this is as good as he is when he's cheating he probably should have never made the big leauges. My prediction for Zaun's numbers:Avg. .238 HR 13 RBI 40 It's a good thing we've got 6 outfielders. Jaimoe
If anything, Zaun juiced when he was a down and out alcoholic in his late 20's to early 30's. His comeback was amazing and perhaps for good reason.
Hal Johnson
Jaimoe - by the time a catcher reaches the bigs he can call a good game. Even if the new guy doesnt do it as well as Zaun, his ability to throw out runners or at least keep them from attempting to steal as much should be enough to make him their every day. Zaun will get his fair share of starts though.
afro poppa
As far as Stewart goes the move was purely a depth thing. It's a low risk medium reward move. The guy can hit for average which isn't a terrible thing.
