Northern Wish
Cool, but I hadn't been before- was the old site out of space?See you there.....S
Basher
The old site was prohibitive to lots of camping (they only had a small camping area). They seemed to have a decent amount of space, but nothing like Big Cypress. Wish I could go again this year, but I will be in the Dominican for a wedding (poor me )
RobL
definatley will add a new twist to this festival. that venue was great but it was outgrowing itself. And now four days of music. I just hope it has that small festival feal and dosn't get as big as bonnaroo. But im sure it will be great regardless. great way to start of your spring coming back to ottawa with a nice tan See yall their for my third langerado
Basher
BTW, one of the BIG advantages of this move is that they will now be hosting latenight concerts on site! Markham Park had a very strict 11:00pm curfew. As we all know, there is no curfew at Big Cypress. Heck, they don't mind if you rock all night! afro poppa
Nice, I want to go to this. Who wants to do the drive with me?
Basher
I say screw the drive. You can fly there from Buffalo for about $140 CD round trip all in.
The Chameleon
Nice this makes me want to go even more. I loved Big Cypruss when I was there for Phish NYE 99/2000...Love to relive it..in a small way...Good move!

NewRider
If they keep up with the wicked line-ups I think I just might head down this way.

MarcO
Big Cypress was a magical place, I'll say that. Traffic was an absolute nightmare though. 12+ hours going in, 18+ hours getting out.
afro poppa
Fack, last year that deal was for Delta. Check orbitz.com .Thanks. The best place to find budget prices are airninja.com and kayak.comThose websites came in handy so much while in Asia.
NewRider
I'll agree with the fact that the traffic was horrible for Phish but I don't think it would be as bad for this fest. Edited October 1, 2007 by Guest
afro poppa
So far the cheapest ive found non stop is roughly 400 from buffalo to ft lauderdale...with about a 3 hour layover in NYC/Boston both ways is 240...sunwing will be about half the price but you have to leave on sunday (but it is from straight from toront0

Basher
It is WAY too early to book flights at that time. Check in January.
afro poppa
Its never too early to check on flights and start budgeting for the trip (IMHO)...Id rather know I need to save 300 dollars for a flight now as opposed to january...
AD
i think basher is definitely right, especially for short-haul flights to sunny places. what is the harm in saving $300 regardless? a few sacrifices now makes for a killer langerado if you wanna spend a few extra days in miami or something... or, there's your bonnaroo money already saved.... just my 2 cents. afro poppa
meh its all gooooooodim not buyin ANYTHING now anyway thats for sure, i gotta make sure i got no important school things and i wont find that out until Jan...plus the lineup has to be worth it for me to spend $$$ (but that prob wont be hard, the last few lineups have been fucking awsome)
Basher
We booked in January last year (late January) and paid $160 CDN with all taxes and fees. The dollar wasn't as high either. Now is WAY too early to book a flight. The only consideration is that this year Langerado starts the same weekend that March break starts, but if you leave on Wed or Thurs you should be fine.
