Kanada Kev
Would like to go ... wayyyy too steep a $$$ for my liking though, especially when his gigs can be hit or miss.
AD
last year you could get tickets to his hummingbird centre show for something like $2 on redflagdealsi wonder if he thinks people are still willing to pay those ridiculous prices for that gig
StoneMtn
People will. He plays to the right demographic.
Kanada Kev
yeah, and with his back to the crowd for half the show (i remember a particularly poor one and the CNE Grandstand years ago ).
bouche
his performance on ACL was brutal.
Northern Wish
But last years Bluesfest set was a 10 out 10 (except for the low volume, but thats not his fault).
Kanada Kev
exactly ... and the Hummingbird gig was supposed to be a "good one" Hit or Miss ... gamble your $195 if you like the odds I'm sure the Bluesfest price would have been a lot easier to swallow had it been a dud of a set. Northern Wish
Better than easy to swallow, it was an add on performer/date after we all bought our tickets.

AD
Better than easy to swallow, it was an add on performer/date after we all bought our tickets.but you had to pay extra to go to that night - $25 for existing passholders, $50 for day-passes. it wasn't a bonus show or anything...... Northern Wish
Oh yeah, forgot about that. The total ticket price (even with the $25) was much cheaper last year......
