bradm
It looks like Google has teamed up with various public transit organizations (including Ottawa's OC Transpo) to produce Google Transit: enter a starting and ending address, and it gives you step-by-step directions on how to use a city's public transit system to get where you want to go; scheduling info is included.Aloha,Brad
AdamH
Cool in principle. It's not perfect (i.e. it's not giving me the absolute shortest trip or the choice of it) but cool all the same on such a huge scale.

It covered me from Hull to my workplace in Ottawa, and gave me nearly the same route that I would take. I used to take the route that it gave me until I got some experience and learned of a closer stop to my house.
DevO
When I lived in Seoul, Korea, they had an excellent tool just like that that I used every day. You could search using subway, bus, subway + bus, etc. It was way cool.edit: yarrrgh no toronto! Edited June 6, 2008 by Guest
