ms z., it seems like we have settled on banjo, after all that! i really enjoyed seeing all the name suggestions, but there wasn't really one we could agree on other than banjo. plus we already told the neighbours that.

hang a small bell by the back door. whenever you take the dog out to pee, ring the bell. make a game of it and get the dog to ring it too. after a couple of weeks, you will hear the dog ringing the bell on her own, telling you she has to go out ... but be careful, the smart ones also ring it to trick you into taking them outside to play even if they dont need to pee.
