LJFH
I have a potluck at work on Friday and want to make meatballs. Does anyone have a good recipe for them that they wouldn't mind sharing? Thanks!
bradm
One trick I've heard is to use several different kinds of meat: equal parts beef, veal, and pork is one combination.Aloha,Brad Edited June 23, 2008 by Guest
Ms.Huxtable
Yeah definitely mix up the meat, not just beef. Also, a friend of mine used to stuff each meatball with mozzerella (well she formed the meatballs around the cheese) and it's always a hit. bouche
my mother's swedish meatballs are really easy. the sauce is ketchup and welch's grape jelly.i'm sure she can type that out.
Sarahbelle
yes I agree with Bouche. Everyone loves them and they are quite possibly the easiest thing to make ever!!!
Ms Zimmy
My mom would make them with some bread crumbs, onions, and an egg...bake them on a baking sheet, then put them in a casserole dish and bake them in a sweet and sour sauce....ketchup, vinegar and brown sugar. I'm not sure the amounts, but just tasting it you can figure it out.

Ms Zimmy
Oh no, she used meat in hers hahaI make them with lentils. I cook lentils till they are mushy, add bread crumbs, garlic, basil, cayenne and whatever else I feel like (sometimes spinach) and bake them in the oven. They are pretty tasty.
