buncooter
"Seriously, name the last US "jamband" to draw 300 here. Panic barely did it on a Friday night in the summer. " interesting point... except that ur leaving out the fact that at least 75% of Toronto jam fans that weekend were raging at Rothbury. BISCO IN TORONTO! Basher
Listen, I'm all for bringing good bands to Toronto. But this would be a philanthropic gesture. I would not put a penny of my money on the line.

Jakis
I know some people who don't like jambands but like disco biscuits and electronic music. So maybe they could draw that many.
Basher
Yes buncooter, but will you invest in the show? Put up serious cash with the risk of losing it? That is what Jaydawg is asking us. Don't be selfish, be realistic.

Jay Funk Dawg
I have a couple of friends that are really vying to make a connection to the US Jamband/Live Electronic scene... so this would be a co-promote with a couple of other people.I've been running the numbers and it looks like we'd need 370 people to make it work. That does sound a bit daunting.Widespread Panic actually did over 650 people paid - mind you it was on a weekend.Monday also makes it tough and I'm unsure of the all ages possibilities. c-towns
I always thought they'd go over well in Toronto, I think a large portion of the electro folks in Toronto would go as long as Chameleon Project doesn't open.
