phorbesie
i'm guessing, the blue and yellow sections are both the top price level? then red is the second, and lawn the third? (is that right?)
Basher
It probably won't be that simple. No way to know for sure, but obviously that would make the most sense. The seating chart is a generic chart from TicketMaster. TicketMaster's on sale page also lists a price level of $29.50, which might be the lawn price. It is possible that the pre-sale for WSP does not include lawn tickets.
phorbesie
that would make sense, thanks.
MoMack
You can purchase through ABB pre-sale too. And ABB is the reason for the price differential. Panic keeps it simple.Who opens and who closes is not yet official but the rumour is that ABB opens. ABB is closing the majority of the tour. Freak By Night
In! I bought the medium priced tickets and I think the seats are pretty good. It's been a while since I've used my music today account, and I've changed my e-mail address since then, so I had to sign up again which was a bit of a hassle, but it all worked out. Thanks for keeping us posted on these musictoday pre-sales Basher!
TimmyB
I got a pair of the cheapest seats in SEC LEC ROW KKK SEATS 301-302. I have to go and see the Allman Brothers Band at least once on their 40th annivesary.Widespread Panic better not be headlining this gig, they have no business headlining over the Allman Brothers Band north of the Mason/Dixon line.Peace,Tim

And sorry to dissapoint you but all sources suggest that Panic will be headlining. Thanks for putting a positive spin on it though!7th row for me. Figured if I'm going to go to a sit down show I might as well be up front (my positive ABB spin)FWIW neither of these bands are filling places. Hence the tour together. Wasn't ABB's last trip to Ontario Casino Rama?
Basher
We'll be in the 10th row, and add a vote for a WSP closing set for me too. That said, I totally agree that ABB "should" be closing. There is no doubt they are the "bigger" band in these parts.

c-towns
They tried to play rama, over all failure if you ask me, although i did get to watch some of the show from under the stage.

Wasn't ABB's last trip to Ontario Casino Rama?Don't get me wrong I enjoy Widspread Panic, I was being objective with my above statement. The Allman Brothers Band have a far more significant following in the North East, more specifically Upstate New York than WP.The Allman Brothers Band are playing between Rochester and Buffalo, New York for this gig not Orilla, Ontario. Over the last decade plus the Allman have gotten decent crowds headling nearly every year at Darien Lake Performing Arts Centre which is a larger amphitheatre than Constellation Performing Arts Center and last year they headlined CPAC over Ratdog. In the end the headliner should be the act that keeps the crowd to the end and in the end the Allman Brothers Band is that band over Widspread Panic in Upstate New York.I look forward to seeing both of these bands on August 22nd, I just do not want to see the crowd one third empty by the time that WP is finished if they indeed were the headliner.Peace,Tim
MoMack
I was a little grumpy this morning. But, regardless, wouldn't you rather see the crowd one third empty but standing on their feet and getting into it instead of hearing the big dude behind you tell you to sit down and enjoy the show?(ps. I actually think ABB's crowd will get into Panic but we'll see.)
Basher
On the ABB site they actually indicate for many of the shows which band is closing. There is no note up on the CMAC show yet.

There is no note up on the CMAC show yet. There was a list floating around before that ran through all of the shows and had WSP closing. It was right about all the rest, so hopefully its on for this one too. That being said, the venue website has ABB above WSP.

Basher
Does it really matter that much to you? I thought you were a WSP fan? You would PASS on a somewhat local WSP show just because a band was coming on after them?

I specifically hope that there is some interplay between the guitarists from one act to the other.I specifically hope to see Jimmy Herring play with the Allmans. I have not seen Herring with the Allmans since 2000.Peace,Tim
