Jaimoe Posted August 30, 2009 Report Share Posted August 30, 2009 Enjoy Ontario's best month while I'm gone.I'm off to France, Italy, Germany (Oktoberfest in Munich, Berlin and exploring Bavaria), hitting some pubs in Amsterdam and then back to Paris for a week. I'll be gone until October 4th. I'm actually not overly excited about the trip because my cat Maebe is dying of congestive heart failure and we are boarding her at a cat hospital for the duration of our trip. At least she'll have good medical care while she's there. I hope she doesn't take a turn for the worse while I'm gone, but she's looking good right now. Anyway, I am looking forward to swilling beer with fat lederhosen-wearing Germans, heckling the Pope, taking the piss out of American tourists, rolling stoned out hippies, keeping my wife away from Amsterdam's red-light district, drinking wine, drinking beer, drinking more wine and then drinking more beer... oh, and experiencing history. I'm super jealous.My wife is in Portugal right now and I'm stuck at home working like a sucker.At this point, I can only dream of having that kind of vacation time.Have fun and stay safe!
