DevO Posted October 1, 2009 Report Share Posted October 1, 2009 10-12 years ago (eek - seriously?) I remember going down to Buffalo to see Max Creek a few times at the Showplace Theatre. Scott Murawski blew me away back then. Such a great vibe at those shows, I remember feeling like well this'll be the closest I ever come to a Dead live experience (at least in terms of the essence of what that community was). YearsAlongTheSea Posted October 2, 2009 Report Share Posted October 2, 2009 Nice interview. I grew up on Max Creek and do remember him as an excellent guitarist. They used to play the Globe Theater in Norwalk, CT at least once a week to the best of my recollection. I don't know if it was they're thing, but whenever they played, Disney's Fantasia was projected against the wall adjacent to the stage. Good times...
