Jaimoe
Any fans of this series? It's hilarious. It's about a writer (Jason Schwartzman) who moonlights as a private detective. The cast is excellent and includes Ted Danson (Schwartzman's lunatic boss) and Zach Galifianakis (Jason's tortured friend). The series is on TMN on Demand. Basically, if you like vintage Wes Anderson, you'll love this.

zero
Surprised more people haven't commented on this already. Jonathan Ames is an amazing writer, the cast is perfect and even the music is amazing (a friend noticed Andrew Bird's Lull in the first episode). Patchoulia
I quite enjoy the show..very witty & funny. And check out this article about Jonathan Ames (I am actually friends with the "stranger" mentioned in the article, which is why this kooky story came to my attention..). Hilarious!http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local-beat/Bored-to-Death-Writer--64729527.html
Kanada Kev
Damn, never heard of it. I've just read a few more things about it online. Looks fantastic. Gotta get it on the list of shows to watch now Thanks for posting Jaimoe. Yet another recommendation from you that I'm sure will be worth it
Hal Johnson
I like it too. I also like Hung and Entourage, but find their seasons to be incredibly short. HBO definitely (aside from the Office and 30 Rock) has the best shows.
Jaimoe
The series also resembles a film noir, but with comedy. Schwartzman's character is the show's writer/director, Jonathan Ames.
